The company

The seveneleven company was founded in 2013 by actors Notis Paraskevopoulos and Konstantina Maltezou. Although its initial aim was the production of theatrical plays, in the past few years its main goal has become the improvement of social and mental state of the elderly who live in and out of nursing homes.

Its founders’ honest motives, consistency and ethos, have led to important collaborations, such as the “Points of Support”, with the support of the TIMA Charitable Foundation, and the “Open Schools” of the Athens Municipality, while its theatrical productions have received the official support of the Embassies of Austria and Bulgaria. Within this framework, the thāllo program was developed thanks to a founding grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and its original recreational model was presented in nursing homes, while the staff and relatives were informed on brain degenerative diseases. seveneleven comprises a network of partners and trained volunteers who significantly support the sustainability of the work and vision of its founders.

Its collaboration with the Museum of Cycladic Art and the B&E Goulandris Museum of Contemporary Art, its long-standing presence in the Chios Music Festival, the publishing of a book including a thorough description of the thāllo method, the interest of scientists abroad in the company’s initiative, the award at the “Young Leaders Awards” for its offer to the Third Age, and its presence at the International Committee of the Hellenic Initiative Against Alzheimer’s Disease are honorary distinctions of the company’s work.

Since its founding, seveneleven has evolved a great deal and has been reinforced by the trust of privates and renowned organizations; this fills us with optimism and courage for continuing our work even more successfully in the future.
